Beautiful Chicken of the Woods

Beautiful Chicken of the Woods

My beautiful Chicken of the Woods came back sooner and much more plentiful this year. Love to see the colors from these. Tennessee.

Physical symptoms with every exposure?

Hope this general question is allowed. If you have the non-silent symptoms, will you have a physically noticeable reaction EVERY time you eat gluten or it’s a “may or may not have symptoms this time” thing? I was debilitated, in the floor sick for days at one time (after many months of gradual decline to get to that point) and was diagnosed with acid reflux. I got better for a while with meds and diet but still have frequent problems and wondering if it’s something more as I have many CD symptoms. I did not have insurance when I was diagnosed so I’m wondering if they started with cheapest remedy first. I can list my symptoms if anyone is wondering but holding off in case this question isn’t allowed. I’m not looking for a diagnosis just looking mostly to see if gluten ALWAYS causes a visible reaction IF it ever caused a reaction before, so I can do an elimination table.

Creek rock help?

I have a huge creek that has created an interest of rock hounding. Is this a complete ammonite, perhaps? Something else? Found in Middle Tennessee. My SO and I have a ranking system (for fun) for our “best finds”. He says this is a strong #2 find but idk. We are both learning.

Spiders are scary so that’s why I marked it NSFW but this is really cool!

Tennessee USA. I have a spring in my woods with tons of ecological things going on. I’m not experienced in mushrooms but told my SO they looked like dead fingers. Looked it up it said Dead Man’s Fingers. Lol. Is that correct?Just a cool find I thought I’d share.
