Planning a surprise Spider-Verse themed birthday experience for our daughter in NYC (6/10–6/14) and looking for talented/high-quality costumed performers!
Seeking:
- Spider-Man (Homecoming suit or newer)
- Ghost-Spider
- Miles Morales
The idea is for the characters to appear at the end of a Central Park scavenger hunt/birthday adventure. Huge plus if you’re comfortable doing light choreography, playful “fight scenes,” basic flips/tricks, poses, or interactive hero moments to really sell the magic for the kids.
This is for a small family/friends group with a 2 year old and 4 year old, so we’re prioritizing:
- Great costumes
- Friendly/high-energy personalities
- Reliability/professionalism
- Experience with kids/events preferred
If you have any recommendations, we’d love any info you might be able to share including:
- Photos/videos of costumes
- Rates/availability for 6/10–6/14
- Any stunt/tumbling experience
- Instagram or portfolio links if available
Open to performers individually or as a group. Thanks!
Got the kids in bed later than usual around 9:30. My wife reminded me to move my car into the garage, and I realized I’d also left the lawn mower out. I went outside and moved her car over and put everything away so I could pull in.
I was walking down the driveway towards my car looking at my phone when I happened to glance up and saw the tree on the adjacent lot coming down directly above me. I was close enough to run back into the garage just in time.
What’s crazy to me is there was no lightning, no obvious strong wind at that moment, and it was completely silent until it crashed through the fence.
