Every single face sunscreen gets in my eyes

No matter how I clean my skin and apply the sunscreen, if I apply it right it always gets in my eyes over the course of the day, usually within an hour of application.

At this point I largely just use my normal sunscreen (first aid beauty hydrating milk sunscreen) and ignore around my eyes, or using a spray sunscreen everywhere including my face. Neither option is ideal.

Does anyone else have this issue? What did you do about it?

ETA: For some reason this posted twice, so I’ve gotten almost a dozen suggestions split between two posts. Ill link the other one in case anyone else is having the same problem!

My theory/headcanon is that the virus was created by an intelligent species for other intelligent species to prevent exploitation. If you’re intelligent enough to receive and understand it, you’re likely exploiting your planet for resources, if not exploiting much of your own population.

While many of the rules seem totally ridiculous, like that they can cannibalize the already dead but can’t pick fruit, they make sense along that framework. As far as I can tell most of what they can’t do, such as lying, can be considered a kind of exploitation.

It also explains the joy and reverence for life they express but don’t really demonstrate (like Kusimayu’s goat). There are currently people alive who believe keeping pets is exploitation, and it seems like the hive mind takes the strongest possible stance on what it would consider exploitation.

The death it causes is a necessary evil to this purpose, as well, as if you can’t support a population without exploiting your resources, that population should dwindle.

It’s incredibly ironic how exploitable the hive mind is though, by this very nature. They do, however, seem to be getting a bit better with the nuances as it “ages” for lack of a better word.
