~ After what must have been an ungodly amount of firewhisky the pain slowly went away. This was a perfect analogy for his live, he thought bitter. Here he sat, alone, in pain, after having been tortured, both physical and emotionally, while Theo and Blaise went to bed with their soulmates he sat here, alone. There was no one coming for him. Nobody cared, nobody asked and nobody saw the pain. His friends all played this game in pairs, but not him. He was playing alone, alone against the whole fucking world. A bitter laugh escaped his lips, as he leaned in to take another drag from his ciggy. That was more than difficult, as he saw simultaneously two and no cigarettes in his hand. Then he found his mouth and breathed the smoke. He had smoked so much today, his lungs stared burning. But he loved the pain. It let the pain of his soul disappear. It was typical, that he loved the girl, the dark Lord had selected to be the surrogate to his heir. Of course, he was the idiot. How could it be different? It had been like that his whole live. Why did he have to fall in love with her? Why did she have to be on the other side of this war instead of sitting beside him and holding his hand? Why did there have to be a war at all? He took another swig out of the bottle. I didn’t matter. His soul was sold to the dark Lord. There was nothing left of him to love. He wasn’t even sure if there was something left of him at all.~

It is a dark fic, Voldemort wins the war, but there is not real violence between Hermione and Draco. He knows from the beginning on, that he is in love and wants to save her. Both of them are deeply traumatized by the war and everything they have lived through, so it’s sad and heartbreaking, but it is going to be HEA as it is still a WIP.
There is no rape or noncon, no violence, he has to do some things to keep her and himself alive but it is not going to traumatize her further. The Story Stands at 19,985 Words but is going to be longer… We are now at 6 Chapers and I think it is going to be 30/40 Chapters long.

(There are some explicit descriptions of violence in this story, just not between Hermione and Draco. Generally no rape or noncon though)

Hermione needs to navigate in a world that feels so unfamiliar, she barely recognizes wizarding britain anymore. In the eye of the evil, all alone without knowing if her friends are even alive, she needs to find a way out. Needs to escape Voldemort and his plan, to use her as a surrogate for his heir. On this escape she finds unexpected friendships and allies.

Or, Draco Malfoy has been in love with Hermione since before the war and desperately tries to save her by taking every risk there possibly is, while being Voldemorts highest ranking general.

Draco learns more about how bad Hermione is doing. We get a peak into his mind, how broken and alone he really is. He also has to pay for a carpet, wallpaper and armchairs he might have destroyed…

So this is my current, and first WIP. Ist currently stands at 16,116 words. It is going to be a long work and updated once a week. It is a dark story, painting a picture of what could have been if Voldemort won the war. But nevertheless it is going to be HEA, I promise that !

I uploaded chapter four of Non desistas, non exieris. yesterday; the first plot twist of the story, and the beginning of two storylines morphing into one. It’s from Hermiones POV. Chapter five is going to follow in just a few days, from Draco’s POV again.

This fan fiction is going to be more on the longer side of story’s, I plan to upload at least once a week, but I already uploaded three chapters since last Sunday, and I intent to keep that up. I decided in chapter two to let it alternate between Hermione and Draco’s POV, It is a WIP and currently stands at 11,593 words. Even if it will be dark I promise a HEA :)

I have just uploaded the prologue and the first chapter will follow soon(it is in writing) … I am excited to see where this is going as I have honestly no idea what I am doing lol. I hope you guys enjoy:)
