How to remove gemini from bottom of tab google on iphone

Starting yestereday on my google (version 148.0.7778.166) on my Iphone SE, when I open a page or scroll up on an existing page the layout has changed so that instead of the home button being centred where it should be instead the ask button is there which I no way to get rid off and whenever I am on a page and have not opened a specific article the bottom bar with the ask button is there with no way to get rid of it.
