What’s going on with Uptown McAllen? Why did 80s and 76 close, and where is everyone going now?

I’ve noticed lately that the Uptown McAllen nightlife scene feels way different. Specifically, places like 80s Brewery and 76 Bar have shut down, and it feels like a bummer because those were solid spots.
Does anyone have the inside scoop on why so many places in the Uptown/Nolana area are closing up shop lately? is the crowd shifting somewhere else?
Also, I need new recommendations!
Since my usual spots are gone, I'm looking for a fun night out. I'm looking for places with Good music and Good vibes. Are people heading back down to 17th Street, or are there low-key spots in North McAllen/Edinburg I’m missing out on? Let me know where the move is these days!

Thinking about pulling the trigger on this 12-inch Android head unit for my 2022 Hybrid Touring. Anyone tried this brand/setup yet?

The stock 8-inch screen on my 2022 Hybrid Touring is alright, but I’ve been getting tempted by these massive 12-inch aftermarket style displays. I stumbled across this one online and it looks pretty clean installed, but I’m a bit hesitant.
Since I have the Touring trim, I’m mostly worried about losing factory features like the hybrid power-flow animations, head-up display (HUD) integration, backup/parking sensors, and climate control menus.
Has anyone here actually bought and installed one of these 12-inch units? If so:
What brand did you go with (Dasaita, Belsee, Carputech, etc.), and how is the UI speed?
Did it end up being a true plug-and-play install with the factory CAN bus, or did you lose any of your Touring-specific features/settings?
For anyone running a "dual boot" or "dual system" setup that lets you switch back to the original Honda OS, is it worth the extra cash?
Would love to know if this is a solid interior upgrade or just a massive headache waiting to happen. What do you guys think?

Best aesthetic bars/lounges for a girls' night in McAllen? RIP Llorona

I’m so upset that Llorona closed down! I was planning a get-together for my friends and wanted that exact vibe, the cute decor, the shows, and the fun atmosphere. Since it's a sports bar now, where is everyone going for a fun, pretty night out? I need suggestions for spots in the McAllen area that are perfect for a group of girls, have a great vibe, and don't feel like your standard local pub. Bonus points if they have live entertainment or weekend events!

Best affordable movers in Edinburg/McAllen?

Looking for some recommendations for local movers. Need someone reliable who won't scratch up my walls, but also trying to keep it budget friendly.
Has anyone used Chapa, Rick's, or any smaller local crews recently? Drop your recommendations (and who I should completely avoid). Thanks yall
