Edit: update, the soil is old, but it was fairly lose. I used some soil supplement to give it some nutrients. Hopefully it recovers. I love this plant.
I (28m) have been in a relationship with a girl around my age for almost 4 years now. Two years ago we had to go through an abortion, which was very painful because despite the fact we both want to be parents it wasn’t right at the time and it would have had massive implication on our life at the time. The decision was mostly hers and I supported which ever decision she made. Since then things were never the same as they used to be. Constant arguing and jealousy from her part. She blamed me for it for a long time, even though we’ve done a lot of healing since then. Our sex life is almost non existing though, things are better overall but we only do it once a month quickly and I don’t feel she desires me like before. I’ve tried multiple approaches to win her back and whole lot of talking about our feelings but her sex drive has never been fully back even though she insists she still loves me.
We’ve had one couples therapy session recently but we have to change therapists and she’s very reluctant to continue. And in the mean time some core issues continue unresolved and I don’t feel like she desires me sexually, which aggravate small misunderstandings and her jealousy towards me.
We have a whole life set up together and still love her but I’m growing more and more distant because the relationship feels unfulfilling and I feel like I’ve been fighting for it for a long time now.
Anyone been through something similar? Is there hope?
