LASIK/SMILE in Bangalore

I am considering doing vision correction. I have consulted doctors at Narayana Netralaya and Dr Agarwals Indiranagar. I am eligible for SMILE. At Narayana Indiranagar, they have CLEAR and SILK which are different versions of SMILE. It costs around 1.5 Lakhs. I can do SMILE at other centres of Narayana Netralaya in Bangalore and the cost is 1.5 lakhs. Dr Agarwals Indiranagar suggested SMILE and the cost is 1.2 lakhs, they have offer till August 31st and can be done at 1.1 lakhs. Also checkups were free at Agarwal today for pre lasiks. I am tempted to choose Agarwals because of the huge difference in the cost, but I and suspicious of these discounts. Are discounts and marketing strategies usual for medical procedures? The google reviews looks good for both. Anyone has experience with Agarwals and these discounts ?

Poor water quality - DrinkPrime

All of my family was sick and we were suspecting a food poison. Next day my cook took leave after she got sick with similar symptoms. There was only one common link between us and that was water. Asked for a DrinkPrime service, the technician came and opened the tank. Attached is the image of the water tank of the purifier. You can see for yourself. Note, there is no proof that we got sick from water.

KSITM Health Aadhar verification

My father called me asking me for an Aadhar verification otp while I was not at home. He said someone from health is at home to collect or verify Aadhar details . The OTP said it’s for KSITM.
What’s this about? Anyone else had someone come to their home with Aadhar verification?

Looking for Health Insurance advice

I am trying to take a health insurance for my parents, Father(70) with BP, Diabetes and Cholestrol and Mother(58) with Cholesterol. I have a corporate plan, and my brother's corporate plan also covers them. This is just an additional one.

I am getting it through Ditto, they suggested HDFC Ergo, Care, and Adithya Birla. HDFC has a longer waiting period, Care had very bad reviews, and is more premium. With the addons suggested by Ditto(Chronic care addon), the premium is 68k for Adithya Birla Activ One for 10 L coverage, this cover every year. There is also an option to pay for 3 years together at 217k. I have scheduled the call for payment and application for tomorrow. Anything else that I should check finally? Is it better to take the plan just for one year? If I take for 3 years in a go, I'll have to pay a big amount, but is it better for me to lock in for the three years? Whats your experience?
