I’ve just completed my way through the latest Dave’s pick and bonus disc; why did no one tell me how beautiful these 73 Peggy-Os were?!
I used to regard 78 as the year of Peggy-O, esp after finding myself lost in that version from Duke so many times. But now that Dave put TWO on this latest pick; I can’t get enough! Maybe I have basic ears and am in the minority but 73>78 for Peggy-O is the new hill I have decided to die on.
Personally I liked the 12/18/73 version over the 12/12/73 version but I’ll take anyone any day.
