Hi, I’m looking for places around Champaign Urbana to hopefully meet new friends.

I’m 28F. LGBT. And Black. Some of my hobbies include writing, photography, Tennis, Pickleball, billiards/darts, and I love listening to music. I’m a current grad student, but not at UICU.

I’d appreciate recommendations for local spots, events, or venues to check out that I’d be likely to meet people I vibe with. I’m not from the area, so any guidance on how/where to meet like-minded people in the area would be nice!

Hi, any recommendations for getting a job in bartending? I’ve served at pubs, breweries, & fine dining for nearly 3 years but have very little bartender training. Any recs for places in Blono that train bartenders would be appreciated. Thank you!
