Friend asked me to hold drugs for them because they're addicted

A friend of mine is a coke addict. He's asked me to keep his drugs for him so he doesn't have easy access to them. At the minimum, he wants his drug use limited to the weekend. I'm very pro responsible use, so the deal is if he really wants the drugs back I'll give it to him.

But recently, his addiction is really concerning me. And it's negatively affecting all of his/our friends at this point. To the point where I wonder if I'm enabling him by giving the drugs back. Or if I should even accept to hold on to the drugs in the first place. Cuz at the end of the day, he needs to take responsibility for himself, I'm not always gonna be around to keep him in check.

Any advice on what to do? I want to help my friend but also not break my own brain in the process.

France vs England game?

Anyone know good watch parties for the France vs England World Cup game? Or good bars/restaurants people will be watching?

Particularly curious if there’s a place England fans are congregating.

Loki Restaurant hosts World Cup games, and I also heard about Paddy’s Irish Pub.

White people are Asians too

White people originate from Europe. But when you look at Europe on a map, it's basically just a giant peninsula off of Asia. People can't even agree on where the border between Europe and Asia is. It's clear Europe and Asia are just one continent. So if Europe is part of Asia, that means anyone descended from Euroupeans is... Asian.

If you are white and filling out your race on a form, you can put Asian. It's okay.

How do I live a more hedonistic life?

I feel like my life now is very plain. I work a 9-5, I come home to rest and eat, sometimes I exercise, and I'm usually in bed by 11. I have hobbies and stuff, I'm in a band that rehearses weekly, I play video games with my friends, I go to a class or event every now and then. But it all feels a bit too... wholesome? Like I'm not getting a lot of fun stories from my life. I want to do crazier things, like pull an all nighter with strangers, or have fun hookup stories, or get into some mischief, whatever. I want to build lore, make mistakes, and have enough fun that when I am older and quieting down my life, I have no regrets.

Not to mention, most of my friends are coupled up, so if we do go for a night out, they usually call it early. I don't want to always rely on my friends to have my own fun.

How do I break out of my routine and start living more hedonistically? How do I meet people already living like this? Activities, second jobs, hangout spots, give me whatever recs you got

▲ 2 r/Career

I've been working at the same job since graduating, I work for a software company doing product management. After 3ish years, I am meh about my career, I don't think tech is for me. It's too fast-paced, too abstract.

Growing up, the main career paths I heard were either law, engineering, or medicine. What non-tech office careers are there for someone not interested in tech?
