Am I misremembering this? I recall a previous season where he was dropping 4*. He also dropped glowing masks for one day.....it feels very underwhelming this time around. Not even new blueprints either.
We had just finished the worst infestation boss possible.....reflective assautron and I had acquired a piece of armour that was actually quite good, and had the "vector" 4* mod applied which I had been hunting for.
Straight after, we did 4-5 head hunts, meaning I was swole with armour and weapons by the end. So I went to the nearest bench and scrapped the lot of them.
In my haste, I accidentally scrapped the 4* armour piece and my heart sunk.....but then...*ding*, Vector unlocked! Woohoo!!!!!
Now....where the hell do I find magnifying lenses for the crafting recipe? 😂
I read on here that the radiation rifle seems to be having a huge effect on head hunt at the moment....I assume it will be nerfed soon.
But I gave it a go and wow....the boss goes down in 4-6 shots and the minions in 6-8...unless they're ghouls ...no effect on ghouls obviously.
I have two jackets and one helmet, so one jacket is surplus. I'm looking for a glowing bone head and/or captain so I would like to know what the price of these items are for Xbox.
I'm also looking for a clean or glowing Pittman, but I can assume they're too costly at the moment.
I've been steadily collecting all the new mods to learn their recipes.
This week I collected 100 adrenal mods in the hope of unlocking it. On Monday I scrapped 50 of them, after attaching them to one star 10mm pistols in case I could retrieve the mod box back, and out of the 50, I got one single mod box in return.
Today I decided to do another 30, so I crafted my 10mm pistols, attached the mods to 30 of them and started my scrapping........unlocked on the first pistol! 🤣🤣 So now I had 29 pistols left which I cannot sell as they're locked to my character as I modded them. I scrapped them and got 2 mod boxes back.
Either way.....one down....more recipes to go!
Every so often I get this annoying visual glitch where I cannot see anything...however I've done enough that I know the route.
As I was making my way down from EN06 to the drill, I found this on the right hand side of the tunnel where it turns to the left towards the crafting benches. There's usually a wooden board wall in the way, behind a wheelbarrow (I checked later when I could see again).
Thought it was quite a funny find! 4 teddies taking on molerat.
So I was in a server where we were back-to-back raiding so the infestations piled up. At one point there were 6 on the map, so I decided to go and do a couple.....sadly not easy to solo any more so I tried the nuke trick someone pointed out and it worked. So took out three that way. Another 3 people joined in and we took out the final 3 normally.
If you do it, make sure to go in and tag the boss a few times so to ensure you get the drop!
I love the CAMP weather station glitches that follow you around as you can get some spectacular photos!

Two notifications one after the other because it spawned in and then errored out again. Three times today so far.....
At least people can spawn in now I suppose.
This is going to be a challenging solo event for sure!!
Just spent an ungodly amount of bullets on the boss and did fuck all damage to his health bar!
The minions are way more tanky now too and do not drop any 3* loot either.
They went too far the other way on these!!!!
With a critical shot, I got 108,334 damage from a single shot.
Need to work out how to make it better. Would intelligence on my armour have much effect?
I've collected quite a few and I do one a day due to the one-per-server bullshit rule, but are they worth the time and effort? Anything rare or interesting that could possibly drop from them?
I heard there was an update for PS5 and xboxseriesX versions. Is this still on the cards?

I know they changed the rate after the initial introduction, but I went to bed last night and AFKed in my private world to get some of them to pop up.
7 hours later there were 7 infestations. Should be twice an hour rather than once!
Loading times are waaay faster, less crashing (so far). Don't have to wait 30+ seconds for someone's base to load in, fast travelling is actually fast! No invisible enemies when FTing to a headhunt or infestation.
Need to see if the crashing at Morgantown and the capitol still happens!
I've tried a fair amount of improved and superb bait by the dead scorched mirelurk queen, and a couple more by the sunken shed but no luck. Only fern skippers and the standard bog lurkers etc.
Any suggestions or is it just RNG?
