I've got my sodastream connected to a 5lb CO2 tank, food grade, connected to my terra via a hose adapter on Amazon. Throughout my use it would form some weird crystals on the tip but those would break off and enter the soda, dissolve, nothing weird, when this happened the gas stream would slow but return to normal, no issues carbonating.

About a month ago it stopped carbonating, had very low pressure, I thought the tank was close to empty. Brought it into a place which told me it was still ~ 80% full. I gave up. Tried again 2 weeks later without changing anything, miraculously worked. I started purging the line after each use, thinking maybe the line was freezing.

Now it's happened again. I replaced the whole adapter, hose and all, no avail. Scoured YouTube and Google, took apart the front assembly and confirmed the foil piece is still intact. Gas tank is still weighing similar to before. Any ideas what I should do??

After months of research and car anxiety cause my 2004 Camry was beginning to burn more oil, leak more stuff, and just be louder, I was able to snag a used 2025 Equinox EV (LT trim, fwd) with 22k miles for 24.7k after all fees (argued me down 2k for some bs they tried to pull)

I drive 88 miles a day mostly highway, and let me tell you the smile on my face when I realized the L2 public charger half a mile from my home is FREE. My 280$ a month spent on gas is now covering most of my car payment. Tips for this newbie are appreciated!

Edit: I live in an apartment complex and I am able to plug into a L1 charger. I'm living in Appalachia near a university, there have been more local incentives for people to switch to eco-friendly living including the installation of a handful of these public and free L2 chargers. I don't think its going away anytime soon, and I rarely see people plugged in so I (optimistically) doubt I'll run into issues with competition here!
