A problem with my Audio Technica Sound Burger AT-SB727 after connecting it to a 24 year old amplifier.

Just last week, I picked up an old untested audio amplifier/subwoofer from my neighbour that he didn’t want anymore, and I connected my Sound Burger AT-SB 727 that I had for two years with the red and white line audio connector just out of curiosity. When I turned it on, I heard a loud POP, and it apparently wasn’t playing it off the speaker. I then used the Bluetooth speakers and despite a successful connection. It still wouldn’t play from the speakers. I tried every speaker and I am absolutely scared that I might have fried the thing almost completely despite the Sound Burger playing the record. Much help would be appreciated if you can tell me what is wrong with my Sound Burger.
