Last night I got to see Danny perform his stand-up in Milwaukee and it was maybe the coolest experience I've ever had. During the show he was doing a bit about how crows are really intelligent and remember people that have wronged them, and I clapped and cheered pretty loudly about that because I'm sorta casually passionate about crows and I love how smart they are. And then he looked me dead in the eyes and went "We've got a crow in the audience over here, clapping with its talons." I felt my soul leave my body for a second. I made a little talon clawing motion at him, and he sorta nodded and was like "thank you" and then continued on with his set. Literally all I could do was gawk for a second at my friends that I came with. Such an awesome moment!

Other than that, it was just such an all-around great show. All of the comedians were hilarious, I loved getting to hear Danny talk about my beloved city a little bit, and I got to take home some rad merch, including this sick-ass signed poster. I also had brought a letter and some bracelets to give to Danny just in case I had the opportunity. I didn't really expect to be able to, but one of the lovely security staff members at the Pabst was an angel and helped me get it to him. So all in all, a very successful night :)

Thank you Danny for such a great time! I will never forget your piercing blue eye contact.

Recently was gifted this boombox. It plays CDs and radio very nicely. It was a thrift find, and the previous owner left a cassette in the player. I can't seem to figure out how to play it.

I've tried setting it to "tape," but the slider doesn't seem to actually have 3 separate settings (it only clicks once between "power off" and "cd," and only plays the radio on the way back from "cd," so maybe the tape function is the same point in the slider coming from the opposite direction? That's more or less what I've been assuming). Regardless of what setting the boombox is on, I am able to use some of the cassette buttons successfully (eject, fast-forward, and rewind). No matter what, though, I can't seem to actually play it. Is the cassette playing function broken, or is there something I'm missing? Any help appreciated.

(Drew this for school, loved getting to explain the fictional communist imagery to my art teacher lol. First time working in this medium so I'm open to constructive critique :))
