hello! i formally had wavy hair but it ended up leaving around once i hit puberty. i have been mourning it for years…

i have never bleached my hair and it is incredibly healthy right now. i use curl cream and salt spray for volume. i blow dry my hair.
no matter what i use, though, im never able to get a wavier or curlier texture to it.

i have been considering getting a perm because i just cannot find joy in my currently straight hair. though, id like to be educated on the pros and cons before thinking further about it. and how to find the right people to perm it.

i am willing to maintain curly hair and buy all products necessary to keep it healthy :)
if anyone has any advice please let me know.
