Burnt soft spots?

Hi all, I've had this Pilea for around a year and it's been doing amazing up until now. Constantly putting out new growth, lots of new pups every few weeks

Over the last week or so, a lot of the leaves have come out with these dark areas and I'm not sure if it's a light, watering, or pest issue. The affected areas are soft to the touch

The plant is in a fairly chunky mix with bark, perlite etc and has slow release fertiliser (soilninja). I water based on the leaves drooping

I'm in the UK and all my plants sit in the conservatory, with Pianta 30 bulbs above them (they're only on for a few hours a day at the moment as it is sunny in the UK so do not want to overload them

The windows in the conservatory are open and it gets a cross wind, so the temperature doesn't get too high

I treat all the plants with systemic every few months

Any advice or ideas would be gladly welcome, thanks!

Suitable lamp holder for Pinata 30

Good morning all, hope everybody is staying safe in the heat.

I have 2 x Pianta 30 bulbs currently on pendants hanging from the ceiling, but I want to move them to adjustable lamp holders to have them facing my plants rather than direct above.

Can anybody recommend suitable lamps or fixtures for this? I have gooseneck clips but they wont support the weight (the bulbs are 550g each).

I can see plenty on Amazon, but most have hoods on them and I'd be worried about them overheating if the lamp was restricted at all

Cheers!

Need advice for transferring spider plant from water to soil

I've had this spider plant cutting in water for a few months now, the roots have grown well but the leaves seem to be struggling now so my intuition is telling me to pot it up in soil. It's in a big south facing window and gets plenty of light for a good chunk of the day

Any tips on whether this is a good or bad move, or how to ensure it goes smoothly?

I currently top up the water every few weeks once it has evaporated maybe a quarter of the way
