Bought a treadmill recently, life changing

Currently work in healthcare, so I do a good portion of my walking before three in the afternoon each day. There are definitely walkable areas where I live, but I also lack in friends and don't want to go alone haha. But, found a listing for a 2009 full size treadmill for $50 about three months ago. Gently used, and has a lot of life left. I try to get in about an hour at a 3.5mph pace a couple times a week. Burning more calories and actually feeling a lot better physically. I am a long time lurker in this subreddit, and enjoy seeing others victories. Thought I would post my stats in the past month.

To address the gap in tracking, on my days off I don't usually wear my watch unless I am on the treadmill. I like to be lazy twice a week :)

p.s. if anyone has any non-nickel sport bands for the google pixel watch, please throw your recommendations my way! currently wrapping the metal clasp in a bandaid (๑•﹏•)

genuinely couldn't believe my eyes

went to my hometown goodwill (which recently started selling dollar tree items??? is anyone else noticing the dollar deals by the check outs???) yesterday to look around. there is never anything worth buying there and often times if there is, it's overpriced. buuuut right as my partner and I were close to leaving I found this beaut. AND FOR $5.99?!?! fully functional with all the little papers and cords. no battery corrosion, or major damage. fixed the cracked shell with a little bit of plastic weld. in love, I've wanted an older digital camera for some time, but can't justify spending $80+ on eBay. thrilled to have a camera similar to my mom's growing up. side note- came with ~550 photos of a family on vacations and life moments from 2011-2014. hoping to post a few of them on a local Facebook group in case I can get them to the family :)

edit: found the original owner! waiting to get contact information to send the photos i found to them! second edit : got into contact with the daughter of the owner! packaged the SD card up and sending it out in the morning! happy ending!!

I absolutely love scrolling on Etsy to look at cross stitch supplies & tools. A lot of them though are definitely not in my price range. Before, I would just lay my bobbins & prepared thread, along with my scissors etc. on my tablet case and table. I love my kitties, but they like knocking into my little side table all too often. So! I took a vintage frame I found at greedwill for $.99, removed the glass and back stand, lined it with felt - and voila! A non slip tray for my thread that holds my tools as well! Haven't seen any posts like this, so thought I would share this easy craft 😁 (ft. Marshall in the background)

I absolutely LOVEEE scrolling on Etsy & looking at anything cross stitch related. Recently I've been suggested a lot of bobbin racks and other tool holders. They are all so beautiful, but unfortunately I don't have the money to be spending willy nilly. Buuuutttt, I got a lil idea and came up with this! I found a vintage frame at greedwill ($.99), took the glass out and put felt in! Honestly, absolutely loving it so far. Before, i would just set everything on my tablet case and pray my kitties wouldn't bump my small side table. But now, everything seems to be pretty sturdily in place :) super cheap and easy option if you just want a tray to catch what you are currently using. Thought I would share in case no one else has made a post like this 😁
