I know the answer to this is obviously a yes to an extent, but they completely are almost a non entity in the New York tri-state area today. From RICO to the widespread legalization of gambling—their power has been completely obliterated. I feel like the Russian mob is now way more powerful, at least in New York.

It’s epically brilliant the way it sticks to its canon and genre. Scream 3 is severely underrated. It’s both horror and a black comedy. Not only did the first film it reinvigorate slasher flicks but also the horror genre itself. It made horror films inherently blockbusters.
