I need help

Please, I’m at the end of my rope. Tell me someone here has actually managed to stop their gas incontinence ? This has been going on nonstop for four months : some days are a full-blown crisis, other days are okay, but the only time it’s okay is when I eat nothing but meat, and I just can’t manage to stay consistent with that. I constantly feel little gas bubbles, and sometimes no pressure at all in the sphincter ; It’s mostly odorous, silent gas when it happens.

Thank you so much for any help ! I’ve already seen three gastroenterologists and none of them are taking me seriously…

I Can’t Take It Anymore: Becoming Depressed Because of the Smell

I’m so fed up , I constantly live with the smell of gas even though I can’t actually smell anything myself. I can’t take it anymore, it’s embarrassing, isolating, and it’s been going on for four months now. I want to go back to a normal life, where I dared to sit next to people without having to sniff the room to check if there’s a bad smell or not. I want to be able to have relationships, to be able to go out with people. I have classes almost every day, and next year my university classes will be longer, attendance is mandatory, and I can’t take them online. I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t understand what’s wrong with me… I’ve seen 3 gastroenterologists who haven’t helped me at all and who don’t take the problem seriously because it’s “just” socially embarrassing.

I can’t keep living like this…

I cant seem to digest most foods anymore

I honestly don’t understand what’s going on with my body anymore. About two months ago, I started alternating between constipation and diarrhea. I was prescribed antibiotics, an antispasmodic, and simethicone for excess gas, and I also followed a low-FODMAP diet. At first, it seemed to help.

The problem is that the diet no longer works. No matter what I eat, I end up with excessive, foul-smelling gas the next day, sometimes every few minutes. It feels like my body can’t tolerate food anymore.

At this point, the only thing that noticeably reduces my symptoms is only eating lean meat, fish, or other seafood. Doctors don’t seem to take my situation seriously, and I’ve tried countless supplements without any improvement.
