I previously purchased several Assassin's Creed games and recently replayed Black Flag and Unity with only minor FPS stutters. However, when I try to play other games in the franchise now, the performance is terrible. I have already tried several common fixes found online, but none of them have worked. What else can I do to fix these performance issues?

I used to play these classic Assassin's Creed games on an older laptop, where they ran at a stable max 30 FPS. It's incredibly frustrating that my current technical issues are ruining the nostalgia of replaying them

Anyone else getting terribly stuttering, or is it just my hardware? Other Older games run completely fine for me, so I’m wondering if this is just poor optimization on Ubisoft's part
