I know I need a blue ray disc, and a disc drive, but does the storage on the blue ray matter, or can I use a 25 gb model to cut costs.

hello. so i have a ps4 updated up to 11.50 and I wanted to ask what version should i have for jailbreak? is it better to keep it on this version or update it and jailbreak it on the updated version? also will i be able to play the newer games and updates for games? for example gt7?

I've posted on here before. I'm having problems trying to load linux on a ps4 Belize B0 (0x20200) with a 1TB HDD.

I keep getting stuck with a blackscreen and a white light whenever I try loading the payload. I have been trying an internal HDD install but it seems like I'll have to buy an external SSD to do this process. For the record I've used multiple kernels, initramfs and distros and I keep getting the same result.

Ok so basically I want to play sonic crossworld dlc characters but some of them require an active PSN account and the thing is I did do that before actually, on my first account although I realized I can't download games anymore and instead get an error message.

So my question is if I make an alt local account, I can use it for jailbreak and homebrew stuff like downloading pkgs/fpkgs and still play on a separate activated account?

Don't wanna lose progress as I am 70 hours deep in some games

I’m considering open-sourcing the project, and I wanted to ask: would anyone here be interested in contributing to the port?

Any help with development, testing, debugging, or general feedback would be appreciated.

I just bought another ps ( ps4 pro) and the firmware is 10.50, which exploit should i use that would be easy and quick.

For reference i am using vue after free on a current ps slim 12.52 and it works fine 90% of the time sometimes i have to restart again and again, but that’s the only exploit that i have used so far. Pls lemme know which one should i choose for 10.50

I finally did the jailbreak, im on 11.52 and used the vue after free method. I got the .pkg for Detroit become human from some site and when I sent it via Remote package installer it completed the process then shows Cannot Install (CE-36441-8), what do I do now?

hmm i just want to ask, if i should stick to BD-JB or to atleast try Vue After Free JB?

So i bought a ps4 slim from someone and i thought i can jailbreak it but the system update is 13.0
Is there something i can do or do i sell it again and try to get a old gen ps4

Im asking cuz i wanna mod my ps4 but the ethernet method would be kinda annoying cuz every time it turns off i have to replug it, i have a laptop that doesnt have an Ethernet port and a imac (windows) that does but i play on my tv so it wouldnt work well if i dont have a really long cable, if not i might just update it atp

I’ve got a really shitty laptop that I play games on and I can only get around 20-30 fps on something as simple as Roblox. I don’t play high end games but would installing Linux on my old ps4 be a better stand in for this until I buy a good PC? I’d only be playing indie games and Roblox

I've been considering selling this thing. But for a measly couple hundred bucks or whatever the going rate is feels like a very stupid decision the more I think about it.

That little amount of money isn't gonna make or break my bank one way or another. I still play it. It's been cleaned and repasted. Works like a dream. Relatively quite.

Am I crazy? I should just keep it, yeah?
