Transmission trouble

Well the car pulled a GM, I have a 2007 Malibu MAXX with the 3500 and the 4t45e transmission, it lost 1st and 4th outta nowhere and now slips between 2nd and 3rd, mind you this happened at the flip of a switch, it's throwing a p0751 code for the 1-2 solenoid, basically I'm asking, is it worth trying to save this or should I just move on, I've only owned the car for about a month or 2. Any ideas on what I should do next?

Just got this beauty, 2007 Malibu MAXX

Never thought id buy a Malibu out of all things but here we are, has some body rust as seen in the photos, but other than that its clean, minimal rust everywhere else, it has 176k miles, but was only 1500 bucks, everything works minus the remote start, its comfy good on gas, and actually has some get up and go, hoping this will last me longer than some of my other vehichles, and while im here is there any known issues with these that i should look at, and any known problems with the 3.5 it has. hoping to keep it for a while.

She is officially done

So for context I've had this truck for 5 or so years. It's been great, has Hella miles, like 330k on it. I was driving and some big ass duramax decides to ram me and push me for a good 1/4 mile, honestly lucky to be alive... I've had problems with these people before but can't do anything and neither will the cops, now I'm out a truck and money for my hospital visit. Had some money in er too, not sure what to do with the truck now, it still runs and drives but just ain't road safe anymore, I feel defeated, my back is all messed up, and I'm just sad. Poor truck didn't deserve to die because someone else thought it was it's time. I just don't know what to say.
