I’m currently 19 years old and wanted to see Mayday Parade live when I saw earlier they were playing on Fremont street in Las Vegas (where i live). I had gotten into the band in high school. No one told me that hearing Jamie All Over surrounded by the lights and typical Vegas chaos going on would make me tear up a bit. Hearing the “I had a dream last night we drove out to see Las Vegas” just created a beautiful moment that hit a lot harder than I thought it would. I think I just found my new favorite song just from seeing one performance!

I’m just now getting into bands that were bigger in the year I was born and I’m fucking loving it. Found another forgotten banger.

It’s a shame that I’m just now really enjoying this band and will likely never get to see them live. They would’ve been awesome if they played at least one When We Were Young festival and even more so with Warped Tour being back.
