Am I the only one who doesn't really care if a character is a bad person?

I just don't except soap characters to be good people all the time.

Take Chas, yes she cheats and is not a good mother, but that's kind of the point if you look at her backstory. The show isn't bad for writing a character like that.

I also notice that there seems to be harsher treatment of female characters, (Chas, Nicola, Kerry ect), whereas several male characters who have done worse such as Aaron, Robert, Kev don't get treated as harsh.

Who is the biggest family on Corrie?

Is it the Barlows, Platts, Connors, Driscolls, Winter-Browns?

Technically, the Winter-Browns and Dobbs are family to each as Ches and Fiz are siblings, so you could count them as one perhaps?

Hot Take: I think the likes of Sean, Izzy, Kirk ect should not be axed

I think Corrie having lots of long-running characters who aren't necessarily main characters but exist in scenes, makes the show more familiar, and results in it reflecting real life more.

Kirk isn't a great character, but he's Kirk, and it feels nice that I can watch Corrie from 20 years ago and see him there. Same with Sean, Izzy, Maria, Fiz, Tyrone ect.

I hope they do this ina future revival....

When we are several seasons into a revival, and they do a Doctor montage, I hope they include Billie Piper and refuse to elaborate. Never give an answer, I think it would be so funny.

I feel like this line from Reality War makes it seem obvious that it was the last episode looking back, it seems the show saying farewell

This and according to the leaker "Andrew", plus some other sources, the Billie Piper thing was meant more as a full circle moment to end New Who rather than a serious attempt at a new Doctor/Special.

Confused about people saying Daniel is being out of character.....

Daniel has never handled things particularly well.

He pushed Ken down the stairs, he also held him hostage (sort of) once. He tried to kiss Bethany while Sinead was dying and then had a relationship with her right after she died. He then had Nicky wear Sineads cardigan while he laid with her. He also freaked out when he thought Daisy might have cancer.

Daniel is also a bit misogynistic (imo) from his relationships with women, all the Barlow men are really. It's completely accurate that something that threatens his masculinity this much would set him off, plus the trolling.

Aunts and Uncles

Does anyone else think the show should feature these relationships more?

Do Gemma/Chesney interacted with Hope/Ruby? Do Fiz/Tyrone interact with Quads and Joseph? Or Carla with Susie?

Have they changed direction with Maggie?

It might just be me, but I think she's a lot less vindictive compared to when she first started.

Evelyn went through a similar thing where was just vile when she was first introduced.

Long term couples

How many long term couples are there on Corrie?

The only ones I can think of are Tim/Sally and Fiz/Tyrone who both got together in 2013. Fiz and Ty were briefly an item years before I think as well.
