I have access to unlimited Luna, Terra, Sonnet 5 and Deepseek v4 flash. What is the best model i can safely have on 99% of the time when coding(C++, C). Working with open source code bases and mostly custom solutions, in the HIL simulation area. I have found terra high/xhigh/max to be good, Luna max also. Havent done much with Sonnet. What would you guys use mostly?
Hey guys i need your help.
I have a VW Passat B5 Variant 1.8 (non t), and recently the red battery warning light came on in the dashboard. I then removed the alternator regulator and saw that the carbon brushes were very badly worn, so I replaced the regulator.
After replacing it, the red warning light went away, and at first everything seemed fine. But now it looks like the battery is still not being charged properly.
I have also installed a new battery, because the old one was very low and probably defective. The new battery was fine when installed, and the car started normally. After driving/using the car for a while (about 1 week, with around 8–10 starts) the voltage dropped to around 11.4v and now I can hear that the starter is getting weaker again. I have now disconnected the negative cable from the battery.
What I do not understand is that the red battery light does not come back on. Before replacing the regulator, the warning light was on. Now it is off, but the battery still seems to be draining or not being charged. I read that the red light means the car is now running from the battery and not from the alternator. Is that correct?
What else could I test/check/replace to get everything working again? Could it be that I screwed something onto the alternator incorrectly or connected something wrong?
