Weekly Ticket Sales Post

Welcome to the weekly ticket sale & swap thread!

Please post all your ticket sales and ISO's in here. If you are looking for a place for great deals generally, this can be its own post. The format is as follows:

>Show
Date + time
Number of tickets
Specific seat number(s) & section
Original ticket price
Resell price

If your ticket is a lottery win (including the Friday Forty), 16-25 ticket or gifted ticket etc, you must state this.

It is recommended that you pay via PayPal G&S.

If there is less than 48 hours to your show, you are permitted to post outside of the thread.

^ As per the rules, this ticket cannot be sold for more than 50% of its value, unless the rest of the run is sold out. I strongly recommend you give your ticket away to prevent an empty seat, as it is highly unlikely you will get your money back. Most theatres (despite their FAQ's) allow you to exchange for another date with more than 48hrs notice if you ask them nicely.

All other sales posts will be removed.

So…who was at the theatre when the alarms went off?

Since about 7pm to now (11pm) I’ve had my phone go off three times with the same fire warning.

I can’t imagine how that may have gone down for all the shows this evening since it wasn’t a one & done thing.

I remember when the gov tested this system the first time, but to give a national warning of ‘don’t set things on fire in a drought’ I can’t help but feel is misuse. We all thought something disastrous had happened and were panicked for a second.

Even if it isn’t, it clearly still has teething problems if it’s still going off…three times has made me on edge for if something really happens if it goes off a fourth time

Regretful donation: stretchy tartan dress

It's a stretchy, long sleeve tartan shirt midi dress- I can't even make out the brand, or i'd search for that. Size S/M/10/12/14 (honestly i'll make it work). Have searched everywhere for it.

Bought it in 2024 (so its probably older than that) second hand, stupidly donated it in 2025 and have regretted it ever since. Reverse image search pulls up the first photo (from this facebook page which is a dead link after that) and ive tried e-mailing the company but it bounces.

the only place where I found it for sale (vinted UK) the seller hasn't been active in 3 years, so i'm all out of luck (i bought it even though they won't send it). Truly a massive regret and i've been thinking about it constantly since.

Is kobo secretly down again?

The status page has it at normal (except library support), I can only find posts from a week ago so very unsure if its still ongoing.

Was trying to get my libby book on and realised my KCC isn't connected to wifi, except it won't connecT, doesn't recognise my already existing networks, and won't even show them in the wifi list after deleting them (so now I can't add them back). Can't update my device since i dont have wifi and the desktop app doesn't work in europe or for my device.

So what am i meant to do here, and is anyone else having this issue? Can't get my libby book on my phone either which is frustrating after waiting months for my hold to be up.

After 3 months of Ferrous Fumarate 210mg, my ferritin increased from 14...

...to 41.

GP clearly thinks i'm cured, lol.

can i get 210mg without a prescription? i feel as if taking anything lower (over the counter from Boots etc) will hardly do anything if i only went up by 27 on such a high dose after 3 months.

my symptoms are only mildly better, but i put that down to another med i just started last month. only noticeable difference is my nails don't break and i can finally grow them.

Bi-Annual Subreddit Updates + Mod Applications

Hello! Welcome to the second half of the year, i'm re-opening moderator applications! If you applied the first time around in January, you are more than welcome to reapply, especially if your circumstances have changed.

No experience required!

I've been seeing lots of things pop up since the last mod post, and many suggestions have been sent my way, so;

**What i'm looking to do with the subreddit:**
\- have some form of pinned biweekly discussion (such as question or quote of the day)
\- create a 'beginners guide to the west end' with things such as ticket details, theatre building tips and places to eat
\- find a better way mandate ticket sales (open to suggestions here as many wary people come to my DMs, cautious of both paypal and twickets). there is a currently a minimum karma requirement as of the Leslie/Hamilton announcement
\- create a master guide of theatre shows and reviews (there is already an excellent indie made site for this recently posted! i plan on pinning it somewhere for all to see)
\- collate and collapse theatre award shows into a thread (possibly part of a wiki?)
\- potentially reaching out to external theatre communities (you may see TodayTix and OfficialLondonTheatre floating around sometimes, which is quite cool)

If you're any good at collating information, or leading discussions, then please reach out! You won't have to be a moderator of the subreddit, but rather lend a helping hand with information and keeping it updated whenever you can.

If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved in, then please do apply! We have grown lots and lots as a community over the months and years, and it's a lovely place to be! It's a group effort and i constantly see (for example) others reminding people about the 50% rule when I can't quite catch a post in time.

As always, your suggestions, queries and concerns are always welcome.

Mod Applications are Open!

Apply Here!

Hey all! As the community has grown over the last few years, I'm looking for some people that would like to help out! Experience moderating is not essential (but is always helpful). Most tasks include clearing of modmail, post removals and thread moderation.

If you're a big fan of the show and frequent this community, then feel free to apply!

Elvanse stops working and makes me miserable

title, really.

on day 11 of meds.
7 days: 20mg Elvanse
4 days: 30mg elvanse

i take my meds between 7-9am, as told.

first couple days was excellent. i was always going, getting things done, had little sleep issues etc etc. i try and eat within 30 minutes of taking it, but haven't noticed a difference either way. i drink 4L water.

now on day 11, my meds stop working at about 2pm, and then i'm just downright miserable and exhausted until i sleep. i don't do anything when im home, i sit on my phone and scroll aimlessly (i never ever did this pre meds) and everything is boring. im miserable at work, barely talk, hungry but don't want to eat, irritable and have zero patience, and simply don't want to do anything after 2pm. i dont like watching any of my longform content, my music doesn't excite me, there's just nothing going on.

not sure what the point of meds are if they only help for a few hours? i need it to last the whole day

i have an appointment on thursday as a check in, but what am i even supposed to say? what can i ask for to make it better?

How strict are Health Harmonie Minds with appointment cancellations?

for titration, i got a text on wednesday saying i have an appointment. no other details, just to submit heart rate and blood pressure. i then got a text today (saturday) saying my appointment is tuesday afternoon.

their offices are shut on the weekend, yet messages tell me i have to give 48hrs notice if i can't make the appointment.

how is this fair to give me 3 days notice and no way of rescheduling until 24hrs before??

i've only been on meds for 3 days (started thursday- i had to delay starting due to holiday) so while the appointment was meant for 14 days after the start, i would have only been on meds for 6.

how else am i meant to contact them. i know they say titration can be extended but 12 weeks is already so short, and this is 3 weeks gone.
