I'm interested in electronics and I would like to be placed in a core electronics company. I saw in TKM's placement stat that most ECE students are hired by companies for software roles?!? I don't wish to be in the software field as it personally seems boring to me. Then I saw that AEI students in CET were also getting placed in core electronics companies same/similar to that of ECE students in CET, so it seems like a good choice. But then I saw that it is too specialised for Bachelor's?! And I don't know if I will enjoy it, but ECE is promising. So, I'm in a dilemma and would be glad if someone who is studying AEI in CET or any other expert would give me advice. I would also be glad to know what roles are given to AEI vs ECE students who are hired by core electronics companies.
