Type 2 Hair Help!!

Hi! Wavy hair newbie here. I wanted to post my results!
First two pics are with gel cast, last three are after I broke it :)

Been told on a different reddit I have 2c hair? So anyone with knowledge of this hair type would be a lifesaver!!! What products worked for you, what techniques etc

Sleeping completely RUINS what I do, I already have a satin bonnet but it just comes off during sleeping :( My hairs also has a really soft finish so that probably doesn’t help matters

I feel I lose major definition when I break the gel cast. Is this normal? Or is it hinting at a different hair issue I need to address like protein or something?

Hair info:
Soft, Fine, Easily weighed down strands
Won’t keep a curl from a curling wand or straightener

Routine on this specific day:
(In shower)
Head and Shoulders Classic Clean
LUSH Fairly Traded Honey
Elizavecca Ceramide Protein Treatment
Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner

(Post shower)
Curlsmith Air Dry Cream
Bounce Curl Brush (Amazon dupe)
UG Curl Whip Mousse
UG Curl Jelly

Pixie diffused with Shark Flexstyle on low air low heat.

looking for advice: hair type, recommendations, routine

I’ve recently been trying to embrace the natural texture I have in my hair. I wanted to post my results!
First two pics are with gel cast, last three are after I broke it :)

Initial Qs

- Would I be correct in saying I could have 2b?

- I lose major definition when I break the gel cast. Is there a reason for this?

- How to keep this from flattening? I put it in a pineapple and slept in a satin bonnet overnight but woke up with the bonnet OFF my head and really flat bumpy hair.

- Will it get wavier than this? I’ve just started my journey so not sure what to expect

- Am I alright using a protein treatment every wash?

Info About My Hair:
- Fine strands
- Very soft
- Easily weighed down by everything. I don’t scrunch out the crunch with water, I just do it with clean dry hands :| The 1ml of oil I would need to use for it to not get my hair greasy is not cost effective.
- Dyed hair
- Won’t keep a curl from a curling wand or straightener

Routine on this specific day:
(In shower)
Head and Shoulders Classic Clean
LUSH Fairly Traded Honey
Elizavecca Ceramide Protein Treatment
Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner

TLDR: HELP!!!!!!
Any advice is appreciated. If mine looks or sounds like yours did/does, what worked for you!!!

I’m also UK based so are brands are potentially limited from me buying them.

THX!!! :)
