What are the tricks of the trade for decorations; how do you fasten them to the ceilings and walls

I've literally never decorated for Halloween before BUT I've decided to throw a huge house party for adults this year and I wanted to go all out. I'm just now starting to source inspo and collect decorations via marketplace.

Do you guys just use tape to hang stuff up? Or adhesive hooks? Does the tape show? I was thinking for webs and drapery.

Are there any tips you can share for decorating?

I have no theme, just going with a general spook.

Proud of this mediocre cauliflower steak with sun-dried tomato & artichoke rice!

Seasoned heavenly with paprika, garlic blend and olive oil then pan seared and basted in butter. Served on roasted red pepper hummus.

For the rice, I poured vegetable broth, diced zucchini, artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes (with the oil), in a casserole dish and oven baked it at 350f for 40 minutes.

If I had herbs, I would have made a nice chimichurri but otherwise it was really good!
