76ers or Cavs…?

LeBrons choice should ultimately come down to where can he play meaningful basketball for the next year, and be given a chance to win a chip.

I think Cleveland has more appeal because of the history but I don’t think he wants to go into a playoff run with James Harden. Here’s a projected sign and trade that makes Cleveland more appealing to him

Pelicans trade
- Dejounte Murray

Cavs trade
- James Harden

So then it becomes…

76ers
PG: Maxey
SG: Edgecombe
SF: Brown
PF: James
C: Embiid

Cavs
PG: Murray
SG: Mitchell
SF: LeBron
PF: Mobley
C: Allen

Assuming the pelicans continue to be a directionless and poorly managed franchise who agrees to this trade, where would you want him to go?

LeBron Raymone James Sr.

I love LeBron to the spurs, spurs could make it work via sign-and-trade.

Keldon and Kornet to the Lakers, LeBron for $30 mill to the spurs for a 1+1 contract.

Lakers get their lob threat and wing depth.

Spurs had glaring holes in their roster during the finals, and LeBron is an abundance of an answer to those problems.
- Lack of veteran leadership? Sign the greatest player to ever play who’s played more than anybody else in the history of basketball.
- Lack of front-court size around Wemby? Sign a 6-9 250lb athlete who still dominates the fast break and dunks everything
- Long-term cap flexibility? Bron only got 1, maybe 2 years left. Meaning spurs can pay him now and get him off their books before they have to pay castle, harper, champagnie, bryant etc.

From LeBrons perspective he gets 1-2 more years of championship competition, Spurs are a legacy franchise that he wouldn’t look out of place at, and he gets to literally pass the torch to the next generations goat.

LeBron Raymone James Sr. please make it happen

Mock Trade

Thoughts on this….

Celtics trade: Derrick White

Bulls trade: Jalen Smith, Issac Okoro, Tre Jones + heavy protected 1st or a bunch of seconds

Bulls free up their rotation for all the youth we have while also getting some value for expiring contracts. White would be the perfect vet SG to stay competitive and help development.

Celtics make their necessary roster shakeup this offseason and get off derrick whites 90mill over the next 3 years. They can move forward with more depth for next season and longterm salary cap flexibility around tatum (and brown if he stays)

Genuinely excited and trusting in the new front offices direction, not sure if Graham would make a trade where we send out future assets but thought this make the bulls team very exciting next year.
