The problem with taking vocal breaks and muscle memory fading

This has happened multiple times with me, but I’m just getting sick of it because I know exactly how to do the technique safely in my head but when I do it, my muscles don’t remember the tiny coordination that I set them too while doing it and I have to rebuild it. Imagine being a person that never listened to Metal who suddenly got the vocal knowledge of Will Ramos and then attempting to do it. They would blow out their vocal folds from friction burns because the muscles aren’t used to that kind of distortion and airflow and you have to train them. It’s like going to the gym for the first time in a month and you know the proper form and technique for lifting something but your body won’t let you do it because the muscles have gotten used to not doing it.

DO NOT BUY SCREAM ACADEMY VICAL LESSONS!

First of all my friend wanted to learn how to metal scream and was very interested in scream academy because he taught Nick Nocturnal how to scream. so he paid and the first thing the guy did is pressure him into paying an absurd amount on money upfront for lifetime lessons. Second of all this guy doesn’t even sound good himself. He sounds like a beginner 1-2 months into screaming and teaches very dangerous and sketchy techniques such as “close your throat tight and push air through it, you may feel a burning sensation but as you keep going with time it should go away. Don’t be afraid of pain” THIS PERSON SHOULD NOT BE TEACHING!
