u/Redditbiote I throw my glove at you

You called me a ‘noob’ on another post, so I offered to play you.

You have since started ignoring my comments, so this is an official call out. I started playing UT about 3 weeks ago, I’m div 2, and get 11-12 wins on champs. As you can see from my team, this is far from ‘ratty’ or ‘meta’, so you have no excuses.

What to do if PIP assessor didn’t speak coherent English? England

I want to start by making it very clear that this post is a request for help with my specific situation, and is not meant to push any agenda about non-English speaking workers.

So, I had my PIP telephone assessment. From the start, I could barely understand the assessor. The assessor was also struggling to understand me (I am a fully English native speaker with an accent from Berkshire). I was already nervous about my PIP assessment, but now I’m extremely worried as my disability is mental health related- meaning it’s crucial that my answers are understood and conveyed properly in order for me and my disability to be recognised properly.

Should I contact anyone? Or, should I need to appeal, is it worth bringing this up? I absolutely do not want to be seen as racist or anything alike, but this is a legitimate concern as I don’t think this person understood me.

Just a heads up, calling out racism may get you banned.

I posted about this previously following a string of racism in a thread. I took the post down as I don’t like drama, and this is a sub focused on driving.

But, I then received this reply to a comment yesterday and I have been shocked. So I’m once again sharing this, as I don’t think it’s an auto-mod. Calling out racism may get you banned.

u/J12YT - MY THIRD POST ABOUT HIS TOXICITY

So for those interested, there appears to be yet another update from my interaction with this user. After threatening, and ‘warning’ me on the previous posts, he continued to DM me in an attempt to stop me speaking the truth.

Well, if the Romans couldn’t keep Jesus quiet, u/J12YT certainly won’t keep me quiet.

Late last night u/J12YT re-joined my club (the one we had to remove him from) as I had mistakenly left it open after going off, and proceeded to forfeit multiple matches with his friend in order to relegate us back to division 5. I don’t know how long this would have taken given we were in division 1, but it’s safe to assume he dedicated a fair bit of time to this cause.

It’s evident from his comments on other posts that he is at best an angry individual, or at worst isn’t all there mentally. I hold no judgement for this man, but I do intend to continue raising awareness about his actions whilst he continues to carry them out- that way none of you will have to deal with this.

RESPONSE TO TOXIC PLAYER u/J12YT - I’d like to take this chance to apologise…

To absolutely fucking nobody.

Yesterday I made a post regarding u/J12YT and how he is a toxic player on this game. He then proceeded to make a very detailed post trying to wriggle out of it, even going as far as deleting our DMs and making threats towards me. All because I did the right thing and shared my genuine experience with the sub.

He said, and I quote:

‘I'll give u a warning, if u dont make a public apology post sayin u were lyin and defamin’

Well u/J12YT, I’m calling your bluff, what are you gonna do? What are you ‘warning’ me of?

AVOID J12YT - TOXIC PLAYER

I just played clubs with u/J12YT and I needed to provide some wider feedback. This user was looking for a club after being benched in his usual team- initially claiming he needed rest, but then struggling to get back into the lineup.

I’ve seen the guy on reddit a few times so when he asked to join my club I said yes as I figured he must be half decent. Well, he was honestly awful, refused to come in mic, and ended up going AFK just before half time.

I’m posting here partly as a vent, but mainly to warn others who may look at playing with him.

Have a nice day.

Okay so, all I’ve been seeing on here recently is people moaning. They moaned that prototype gear was too hard to get, then they moaned that it was too easy to get, now they’re back to moaning that it’s too hard. People moan about the bugs, but recently caused a riot over an exploit patch.

I could go on.

In reality, this game is in a really good place and I think this community has developed a unique sense of entitlement as to what a game should be offering them. How many games are still grindable after nearly a decade? How many games manage to produce content to keep day 1 players engaged whilst also allowing new players to begin their journey? How many games have the kind of friendly and helpful community that this game has (for the most part)?

Now Ubisoft isn’t perfect. Sure there are tweaks I’d like to see, and like any game there are aspects that make you wonder if the devs do actually play the game. But having played since the release of The Division 1 and 2, and recently starting again on a new account after a break, this remains one of the strongest franchises out there.

I come from a background of playing games that get a year or two at best like Fifa and some CoD. Let me tell you now- if you want to actually experience devs who don’t give a fuck, go hop on something with EA servers right now. Or even Ghost Recon- I still maintain that GR Wildlands is the best game I have ever played, but that was outdated after 2 years. I’m also a day 1 GTA player, with GTA objectively being the best console game ever produced when considering quality and longevity, yet I don’t think Rockstar are miles ahead.

Ultimately my point is this: neither the game, nor the devs, are perfect. But it’s impossible to be perfect when art is subjective, and most of you need to take a step back and actually appreciate what you have instead of coming on here just to slag off the devs.

Before you know it, either this game won’t exist (yeah fuck you Ubisoft, I’m still not over The Crew) or you’ll be handed a sequel that’s just good enough to make you not play the current game but is nowhere near the expectation (looking at you Breakpoint).
