Celebrating some health accomplishments!

I’m doing a whole food, high protein, high fiber diet without any specific tracking that is going very well. I’m staying hydrated and I’m consistently lifting weights four days a week. I also added Tirzeptide in April.

All this has caused me to feel so much stronger and start seeing muscle definition. Also my bloodwork had several good improvements from Jan 2025 to June 2026. My A1C went from 6.0 to 5.6. Fasting glucose went from 130 to 85. Triglycerides went from 257 to 117. HDL went from 35 to 39. Total cholesterol from 205 to 192. LDL is still 130 though. ALT went from 25 to 13. Everything else is in normal range! From March to now I also lost 24% of my goal in regard to weight!

Community responses

I feel like this will be understood in this group. I find it so hurtful when I share hitting a weight loss goal or a big improvement in my blood work and all the responses are “keep it up” “just stay consistent and you’ll get there” “good job, just keep going” I even find it discouraging on other people’s accomplishment posts. Like damn… it sounds like you’re responding to someone who stalled and asked for encouragement. Just tell them you’re happy for them or that they did a great job. They are either at their final goal or they are going to continue. It’s so backhanded and “mean girl” coded. You’re literally telling them that they are taking the right actions, but it’s not enough. Can we be kind and celebrate each other?

Complex health and stack advice

Tirzepatide: 10 mg weekly

I’m decreasing tirz and transitioning to

Retatrutide: 4mg weekly

Tesamorelin: 2mg nightly

The three above this line is what I’m currently using and seeing benefit from.I’m considering adding these 3/4

SS-31 5mg daily for 3 weeks then stop and switch to
Mots-C 5mg 3x per week

GHK-CU. 3mg daily

KPV .5 mg per day (I am hoping for improvements in chronic illness with this one, but had a little trouble finding good info on dosing in this application)

I have PCOS/PMOS, fibromyalgia, HEDS, and a complex medical history with flare ups of a still undiagnosed chronic illness that have made me extremely sick for more than a year at a time. So my research is a bit complicated and I air on the side of caution and simplicity, but I can’t continue waiting for doctors to help when they usually just throw medications at my problems that cause new problems. I’ve been weightlifting as often as my body can tolerate for the past year. 4 days per week. I did have a very athletic background though.

I’m running a whole food, high protein, high fiber diet that is going very well. My bloodwork had several good improvements from Jan 2025 to June 2026. My A1C went from 6.0 to 5.6. Fasting glucose went from 130 to 85. Triglycerides went from 257 to 117. HDL went from 35 to 39. Total cholesterol from 205 to 192. LDL is still 130 though. ALT went from 25 to 13. Everything else is normal and not changing much.

I struggle to actually sleep enough even with good sleep hygiene and magnesium.

My main goal is fat reduction and improving my health for fertility goals. Secondary goals are feeling better, more energetic, and more capable. Finally some aesthetic goals. Side effect wise I’m tolerating tirzepatide and Tesa very well. The heart rate increase from Reta hasn’t felt the best, but seems fairly minimal in reality.

I started at 317 pounds in February. My current weight is 276. My goal weight is about 180 at 5’10 as a muscular woman in my late twenties.

Complex health and simple(ish) stack

Tirzepatide: 12.5 mg weekly

I’m decreasing tirz and transitioning to

Retatrutide: 2mg weekly

Tesamorelin: 2mg nightly for 14 weeks

The three above this line is what I’m currently using and seeing benefit from.I’m considering adding these 3/4

SS-31 10mg kit. 5mg daily for 3 weeks then stop and switch to
Mots-C 20mg kit. 5mg 3x per week

GHK-CU 50mg kit. 3mg daily

KPV 10mg kit. .5 mg per day (I am hoping for improvements in chronic illness with this one, but had a little trouble finding good info on dosing in this application)

I’ve been weightlifting as often as my body can tolerate for the past year. (5 days per week split, but I have to take 1-3 week breaks when I stop recovering) I did have a very athletic background though.

I’m hoping to hear any personal experiences related to these peptides in combination or generally experience with any one of these from someone with medical similarities. Also open to feedback if any of the dosing seems incorrect for the application.

These have been recommended to me and I’m curious about but I haven’t found a lot of evidence relevant to me about yet

Ipamorelin 300mcg daily (potentially beneficial addition to tesa because it increases HGH through ghrelin instead of GHRH like Tesa)

Epithalon 10mg nightly for 20 day cycle for sleep

Eloralintide (only adding this in if additional appetite suppression is needed after many months on GLPs)

A tendency towards the obsessive

alright folks, this is a vulnerable one. I’ve tried to lose weight since I was 10 years old, dieticians, weight watchers, keto, personal trainers, different styles of lifting, meticulous tracking of everything. Each time I’ve lost weight I’ve quickly become very obsessive. To the point that was the only topic on my mind. As an adult I set a boundary that I don’t track calories to mitigate this effect. I developed a much healthier relationship with exercise from this and my weight has been stable for years. I decided to start tirzepatide in effort to help my PCOS and ideally lose some fat. Without needing to obsessively track I’ve been able to lose weight and maintain my weightlifting while losing fat. The problem now is with the scale, I am so focused on the number and weighing every morning and I only feel good on the days it goes down significantly. However oddly even on those days I have obsessive thoughts all day about how to speed up the process. I literally get disappointed in myself if I’m hungry for more than one meal and one protein shake in a day. I know that slow weight loss is healthier, but I don’t know how to internalize that and really be comfortable with it.

I just want to be healthy mentally and physically and I wish focusing on one didn’t feel like abandoning the other.

What peptides have actually changed things for you as a chronically ill woman?

I’ve been on Tirzepatide for two months. I have PCOS/PMOS, fibromyalgia, HEDS, and a complex medical history with flare ups of chronic illness that have made me extremely sick for more than a year at a time. So my research is a bit complicated and I air on the side of caution and simplicity. I am adding Tesamorelin now. I’ve been weightlifting as often as my body can tolerate for the past year. (5 days per week split, but I have to take 1-3 week breaks when I stop healing)
My main goal is fat reduction and improving my health for future fertility goals. Secondary goals are feeling better/ more capable and some aesthetic goals.
I had a very athletic background when I was younger. Side effect wise I’m tolerating tirzepatide very well. In my first two months I’ve lost about 10 pounds with maximum effort and lifestyle changes. Major diet changes and very consistent in the gym. I started over 300 pounds and my goal weight is between 180-200 at 5’10 as a muscular woman in my late twenties.

I‘d love to hear from anyone in a somewhat similar situation, what peptides have actually been meaningful for you?
