Finally got to take the truck off road

Took the truck up Edinburg Gap and Peter’s Mill Run on Saturday. Started off with Edinburg Gap because someone(also pictured) likes to puke in the truck figuring it would be an easy test before going on a real trail. Truck handled both trails effortlessly and there was no puking. Zoties(?) makes an anti nausea med for dogs and it works great. He was to ride and explore without having to ride the trazodone rocket ship all day.

Thoughts on lack of a long travel wide body off-road truck for 2027

I’m honestly not disappointed GMC didn’t add a Raptor type truck to the line up. GM can do something the brands can’t and that is build 2 different truck without cannibalizing sales from their self . Let Chevy do the Raptor style truck they can call it the ZR2X similar to the Corvette ZR1X and Grand Sport X. And GMC could go the overlanding direction.

Question about L87 recall on used truck at GM Dealers

My wife and I have been looking at Acadias to replace her CX-5 however with current gas prices the used Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade inventory has exploded. I’ve checked a few L87 trucks and most haven’t had the recall done. Should GM dealer perform the recall before listing the vehicle for sale? I don’t have any interest in buying a vehicle that I immediately have to take for service to find out if it’s needs a new engine or not.
