Dug out some of my original Nightlords from the 90s, they've somehow managed to survive more or less intact all this time! I was so proud of these guys back then :)

The iconic Heroquest gargoyle, which I've painted and rebased for Advanced Heroquest as a Bloodthirster.

I have two of these, so fear not - I haven't vandalised my original HQ set by rebasing him.

Way back in the day as a kid, I bought "Against the Ogre Horde" from some toy shop while I was on holiday. I didn't know it even existed until I saw it there and then. At home I found the quest book was missing (I was distraught), so I posted a letter to MB Games. A month or so later they wrote back with a copy of the quest book and threw in some monster and furniture sprues as well. Thanks MB!

Anyway, this model is all over the box art and rulebook art, so it had to be this model I'd use for AHQ as a Bloodthirster.

"This is a Gargoyle" (or is it a Bloodthirster?)

Swapped the base so I could use him as a Bloodthirster in Advanced Heroquest. I have two of these, so I didn't vandalise my original Heroquest set :)
