Fog lights for aftermarket M3 style bumper?

Just just bought this 09 E92 335i xDrive and I’m in the process of restoring it to factory new(ish. Maybe making it look like, it’s 3 years later and the first owner took great care of it because I don’t have infinite money). I have slots for fog lights but I don’t have a darn clue what’s going to fit here. I know the M3 never had fog lights so I assumed regular E9X ones would fit, but Google and ChatGPT said maybe not and to ask on Reddit. I asked BMW and they aren’t willing to give me advice. I have no idea what’s company produced this bumper either. So here I am, asking Reddit. Any ideas? 🥹

Thanks in advance!

Is the hydraulic steering supposed to feel that way?

Someone listed a clean 335i on FB near me and I fell in love with the idea of it. Then I drove it and, the steering feels… different. This example is beautiful and in great condition and I loved everything about it but I’m trying to wrap my head around the steering feel. I looked at some forums and everyone praises the hydraulic steering, they say they feel so connected with the car and it feels very analog, but for me, it felt a little resistant(?), a bit numb, I found myself turning the steering wheel a LOT more than I thought I’d have to, and it required more input to physically turn it.

One other thing that I’m not sure if it’s worth mentioning, but we met in a local park, and I only drove on backroads, never went over 40mph. I read that the steering really comes to life when you’re going at highway speeds, but I wasn’t able to get to a highway. I also read that it’s a bit of an adjustment and that most people get used to it after a while.

Is this normal? I’ll go ahead and buy it if everyone says this is how they are. I’m also getting a PPI done at a BMW specialist this Saturday. If it checks out and there’s no issues with the steering of any kind, I think I can live with it. Just wanted to see if my experience is “normal” coming from cars with modern powered steering.

Thanks in advance!

Help setting up my desk

I recently replaced my PC and gigantic monitor with a laptop. It’s great because I have so much desk space! What’s not great is how everything I had on the desk revolved around a humongous monitor. I’m having a difficult time figuring out how to arrange everything, or if I should add decorative things, or get shelving or a desk riser. Please help :’)

Also, speaking to a few friends, all of them recommended adding “decorative clutter.” Things like leaving a piece of paper, or an envelope, or a notebook lying around. As great as that would look, I would like anything decorative to hang on the wall or on the sides of the adjacent shelves. Please don’t recommend throwing papers around 😭

Thanks ahead! I look forward to your ideas!
