My pain never stops - do you experience this?

I’ve had pain in a specific area in my vagina for two years since my hysterectomy and lately it’s gotten worse. I have been to doctors and pelvic floor therapists. I’ve tried medications, numbing lidocaine cream, a wand, exercise and breathing and nothing makes it stop. I will be trying a trigger point injection in a few weeks. I wonder if something else could be going on because it never goes away.

Is this a normal experience for you to have pelvic pain that never ever stops from the moment you wake up to the moment you fall asleep?

Can scoliosis cause head pressure and pelvic floor dysfunction?

I have scoliosis but it’s a more mild lower curve. I’ve been in pelvic floor physical therapy for years following a hysterectomy and wonder if I’m not getting better because of my scoliosis.

Additionally, for the past year I’ve had head and face pressure. Also my neck is always making creaking and cracking sounds at every turn. My dentist said he feels the pressure in my skull and think I grind my teeth and gave me a mouthguard but since I’ve been wearing it I don’t really see grind marks on it and I don’t think I have TMJ because I don’t have jaw clicking.

Basically I don’t know what to treat. I have an appointment to see a pt for the Schroth method soon and will see what they say.

But basically I want to treat my pelvic floor pain and my head and face pressure and my constantly creaking and cracking neck whenever I turn it which is all bothering me all day and everyday. If I’m able to straighten my curve and make my shoulders not even, even better.

Stretch like you’ve never stretched before

I’ve had a hypertonic pelvic floor for two years. Been to multiple pelvic floor therapists during this time. It’s been hell dealing with this pain - not being able to sit comfortably, have pain-free sex, constipation, etc.

Recently I’ve been focusing more on stretching every part of my body more than I ever have before, multiple times a day every day as well as focusing on my breathing more throughout the day and breathing into my butt.

And wow. I’m not completely “cured” yet, but I’ve noticed a huge improvement.

I have been stretching my stomach, my calves, my thighs, and my butt muscles for longer, and just going above and beyond what my pelvic floor physical therapists have given me and what I have typically done. They’ve typically had me doing more exercises and less stretches and I think the key was more stretching. I still do some exercises but it is much less than the stretches.

Time will tell if this resolves my issues, and if this is something I need to do for life or not. But I’m more optimistic now and feeling so happy about this change and wanted to share this with everyone to try if they haven’t considered more extensive stretching of the entire body yet.
