Plain Old, Boring Old, Typical White Waterlily. (Yawn..🥱)

We've all seen them, out there in the lake or pond. 'Common' plain white water lilies. Why would anyone want to have them sitting around in a bucket on their patio? How ordinary!🫤🤣🪷🧸

Plant Swap? It’s Easy With Container Water Gardens!

“Optimal Growing Conditions” are easier to achieve with container gardening! Too much sun? Move it into the shade. In this case, young water lilies trying to get established get a tub water garden swap for a shallower, optimal growing depth - and a more established waterlily gets a little more breathing room for it’s lily pads!👍😎

Mini-Pond 'Hoardiculture' For Apartment Dwellers

An in-ground pond isn't possible for most apartment and condo dwellers. Container water gardening is a viable alternative for patios, balconies, or backyards. My Patio Watergarden Pal

My neighborhood hummingbirds aren’t the least bit interested in my waterlily blossoms - But they love all the tiny flies and gnats! They need the protein. The rest of you can feed them all nothing but sterile sugar water.🤣🤣🤣

When One Tub Garden Isn't Enough...

5 years ago I just had one mini-pond at the center of my patio... But then at the garden center they had these 'Waterlily-In-A-Box' that came with a tuber and a pickerel or water iris plant packed in peatmoss for $10. So I bought another big resin flower pot to grow that in... Now look where I ended up!!!😱🤨😎

Such a short lived blossom! On Day 2, the falls already started to wilt and curl, so I'm glad I captured this on opening day!🫤 There's two more buds yet to open - but I think we all wish iris flowers would last for weeks on end.😜
