Be honest — how long did your "healthy eating" streak actually last this year?

January 1st — meal prepped, cut sugar, replaced rice with cauliflower, told everyone I was "changing my lifestyle."

January 9th — someone brought samosas to the office. I had four. The cauliflower is still in my fridge. It has a name now. I call it Regret. 🧫

It is now JULY. My new year new me era lasted exactly 8 days.

Honestly though? July feels like a second chance. Mid-year reset. We don't talk about it enough.

So what broke YOUR streak this year? Drop it below

What's one fitness habit you kept thinking was optional until it changed everything?

What’s one fitness habit you used to think was “optional” until it changed everything for you?

Could be sleep, protein intake, walking, stretching, consistency, recovery, drinking more water, tracking calories anything.

I feel like people focus so much on workouts that they ignore the small habits that actually make the biggest difference long term.

What was that one thing for you?

Be honest: What's the exact moment your weekly diet usually falls apart? Mine is Friday evening when I convince myself that one cheat meal won't hurt.

I swear my Monday self and Friday self are two completely different people.

Monday me wants abs.

Friday me wants a large pizza, dessert, and zero accountability.

When does your diet usually go off the rails?

Does anyone else feel more tired after sleeping 8 hours than 6

I’ve noticed that on days I sleep around 6–6.5 hours, I somehow feel more active and productive. But when I get a full 8+ hours, I wake up feeling heavy, groggy, and like I could sleep another 3 hours.

Makes me wonder if sleep quality matters way more than sleep quantity. Like maybe broken sleep, bad timing, stress, or oversleeping affects energy more than the actual number of hours.

Anyone else experience this? Or figured out what actually causes it?

Why does soreness hit MORE on rest days?

Why does soreness hit more on rest days?

I’ll feel fine during workouts, but the moment I stop… everything starts aching.

Feels like my body waits for me to sit still and then hits all at once.

Tried eating clean for a week , this is what I struggled with

Honestly, it wasn’t the food itself. The meals were fine, even enjoyable. The hard part was the constant planning. Thinking about what to eat for every single meal, making sure I had the ingredients, prepping in advance, it adds up quickly.

I also didn’t realize how often I relied on quick, convenient snacks until I removed them. Suddenly everything needed effort.

By the end of the week, I understood why people say consistency is the hardest part, not the diet itself.

Do you actually warm up or just tell yourself you will

Be honest, do you actually warm up or is your first working set your warm up?

No judgment, just curious how many people skip it vs actually take 5–10 mins.
