Fun little rip around downtown LA this evening.

Both just arrived yesterday. 🤘🏻

Didn’t get as dirty as I hoped but hit some really fun dirt roads and washes out in the middle of nowhere. New hitch carrier is a dream on my little RDX too. Gonna take the Dubs with me everywhere now.

Gonna try to hit some trails this weekend. LA makes it difficult to get off the pavement quickly…

Also, the large Tusk bag was the way to go. Returned the small one. Could barely fit my hat in it even with the partition removed. And that’s admittedly the biggest function of it to me. Somewhere to put my hat without having to wear a backpack. Large is perfect for my hat, small mobile camera gear and some other essentials. I can even throw the insta invisible selfie stick in there diagonally. Think it looks great too. Saw the small on TWs in every video online and just assumed that would be fine. It was not. In case anyone was wondering who hasn’t pulled the trigger on one yet.

Longtime Yamaha owner and TW lurker. Now my 81 XS850 Special has a little sibling. Finally pulled the trigger and could not be happier. Driving the 35 miles back home today I kept saying “holy shit this thing is slow”, but also “holy shit this thing is fun” in the same breath. Honestly wasn’t as bad as I was expecting though. Really excited to go rip on this thing. Would love to connect with other SoCal TDubbers getting out to some trails!
