Does anyone else yearn for modern day bot battles?

For those who dabble in the newer BFs, dont you wish you could set up a match just like bf2? Crank out the bots and spawning of vehicles so you can have a massive true all vehicle match, or something like it?

If feel like that really captures what bf was intended to do... if only you could mod the modern day series...

New gig, terrible practices

Just started at a new place. And boy, are they in the stone ages.

No PDM control, just 1 single review before parts are being manufactured at scale, even for revs

No file properties are being used, at all

Revising every single print when SW Inspection decides to re-balloon (unnecessary imo)

Not 1 Api or macro for anything

Drawings not getting split up, so 30 or more sheets end up as 1 drawing (not the worst practice but holy hell does that make a shit ton of work when it crashes)

Just ridiculous! Let's see how it goes over when i rock their world with file properties lol

So, GD&T has changed a lot

Was a machiner, years ago

Got into contracting and cad work for some time

Got back into manufacturing, as a Design Engineer recently

Found out concentricity is literally gone and not suppose to be used

Have to re learn gd&t

It didn't help all of my mentors were old heads and did everything by hand so their methods were probably all outdated anyway

I feel old and out of date lol

Curious what others do

Ive been using sw for nearly a decade, not consistently but my new gig requires heavy use of it. They have a process where the part is simulated through manufacturing, each configuration is an operation. The difficulty im having is their way of painting the faces of the part that has been machined/turned. Each face is painted to show what has been cut away. With the more complicated parts, that equals sw crashing, a lot.

Any thoughts?

Zofran changed my life

I'll keep it short

IBS-D for decades. Every diet imaginable, stayed away from prescriptions, exercised. Nothing helped.

I had food poisoning (2nd time in my whole life)

Had nausea for weeks, so i got a prescription for Zofran.

That was months ago.

And that was ancient history. Decent stool from then on out. Stomach pains, nearly vanished.

Poop well, friends.

What is this?!

I have a home made in the 40s, stone foundation (i think, not 100% sure actually) and inside the basement I have this cinder block wall that wraps the entire perimeter. It has about a 1 foot gap between the "stone" foundation and the wall. In this photo you can see there is roots coming up from this gap... im not really concerned about that, or anything for that matter. Im just puzzled at what it could be, I kind of assumed it was for water run off, but the basement never floods, at least not that I have noticed. What do the experts think???
