I have a feeling this is not a virgin media linked box… can anyone advise? We have no cables that will comfortably insert into here and no adapters with a pin. Our WiFi will turn on tomorrow apparently but I have to work from home.
Is there any way to make this work?
The way the devs were talking in the zoo tour gameplay about staff facilities suggested to me they understood that people sometimes like seeing staff work behind the scenes. I really REALLY hope that means staff facilities will no longer negatively affect guests if they can see them.
Also I kind of hope we get some pre-generated maps for the new game!
Feel like VM is made up of about 5 different depts and none of them ever talk to each other. Moving on a Saturday in July. Called the 020 3743 6970 line and the lady was wonderful after sitting in the online chat for 3 hours getting nowhere, asking to move my address on the Saturday and reconnect on the Sunday. Apparently no VM staff work on a Sunday, nevermind the fact their lines are open on Sundays and it wouldn’t be possible. Lady on the phone says that would be fine and she wasn’t sure why the chat person was saying it wouldn’t be. She said my moving transfer fee of £20 (ridiculous already) would be waived and to call the moving line on 0345. I did so.
Guy on the phone basically denies everything the lady said and insists it’s not possible. After gently Karen-ing my way through a 30 MINUTE CALL I managed to get the fee waived but he fussed about filing complaints and speaking to his manager for about 10 minutes. What a mess. Still said they couldn’t reconnect on a Sunday so I just relented. I WFH in the week so didn’t want it disconnected on Friday as they apparently couldn’t ’commit to a time’ it would be disconnected but somehow knew exactly when I could reconnect.
So frustrating!!! I am staying with your services, why are you resisting me 😭 also the call centre was so loud I couldn’t hear what the guy was even saying. What a terrible 30min of my lunch break.
Just recently put an offer through for a rental in our London area and the form had ‘offer’ at the top. I am praying that rental bidding is not continuing under our noses. If we lose out, is there any way to find out from the letting agency?
Can people offer more than the advertised rent in any legal way now or am I just being superstitious? Manifest a win with me! We’ve been looking for 6 months.
