Crap-Caddy: For When Nature Calls and You'd Better Answer

The Crap-Caddy is the all-in-one "oh no, it's happening" kit for anyone who's ever speed-walked toward an outhouse, a pit toilet, or a strategically selected tree. One grab and you've got everything the moment demands TP, wipes, sanitizer, and what's left of your dignity (sold separately). My submission for the Camping Gear Design Contest on Creality

I built a free, 100% private desktop app to manage sports card collections (FireHawk Collector)

Hey fellow collectors,

I wanted a clean, simple way to catalog and manage my collection without having to pay for monthly subscriptions or hand my data over to a cloud service. So, I built a Windows 11 desktop app called FireHawk Collector, and it’s now officially approved and live on the Microsoft Store.

I’m sharing it here (got permission from a mod first!) completely for free—I don’t make any money off of it, I just wanted to build something useful for the hobby.

Key Features:

  • 100% Private & Local: All your data lives on your own PC in a local database. No accounts, no sign-ups, and no cloud required.
  • Bulk Upload & Folder Import: Easily pair front/back card images automatically to streamline massive collections.
  • Trade Show Mode: Separately stage and view inventory you’re bringing to a show without messing up your main dashboard.
  • Reports: Generate clean Excel and landscape PDF printouts sorted by sport and player to keep behind your table.

Is it actually free?

100% free. There are no paywalls, hidden fees, or premium versions.

The only exception: The app includes an optional AI feature ("Fire Bot" and automatic card identification). If you choose to use it, you just plug in your own Anthropic Claude API key. You only pay Anthropic directly for what you actually use (it costs less than a penny per card), but if you don't want AI, the entire app functions perfectly as a traditional manual-entry organizer completely free of charge.

Where to get it:

Let me know what you think if you try it out! Always looking for feedback on how to make it better for the community.
