Face ID stopped working
For some reason my Face ID stopped working. I was unable to do anything so I had to go in to get the phone reset. I had this same issue with my iPhone 13. Any one else experience that?

I had to fire a new receptionist after less than one week on the job. When I interviewed her, we discussed her skills at length. I asked her questions about software and basic PC knowledge. This person had 20 years of law firm experience, with 15 of them at one firm. She interviewed extremely well.
What we got in person was the total opposite. Almost as if she were a different person.
I decided that I need to do some advanced skills testing before hiring the next one. I have only used Indeed for skills testing but I’m curious of other, more advanced/detailed services out there. Had anyone used a service like this they recommend? We are a small firm so a subscription service does not make sense. I’ve called a few, but they all seem to cater to huge firms. I’m looking for something that I can pay as I go.
Last month, we discovered a new feature by Clio in which one matter can have multiple clients. We used it for a few matters.
When doing invoicing this month, I was not able to batch process draft invoices with “approve and apply trust” as some of the invoices had joint clients.
So I had to manually apply trust funds to each joint client invoice, which took more time than was saved by adding a joint client to a matter versus adding a related contact who gets bills.
I hope this saves someone the trouble as this took about 3 extra hours for me to resolve.
For those of you in the private sector, does your firm use AI? If so, how?
I was talking to an attorney friend of mine this weekend. She is a corporate attorney, and her company has completely shifted to using AI and even laid off half of her team. She said they are pushing hard for the shift to AI.
My boss won’t allow it but I dream of using AI to write code to create software that will eventually replace Clio and other programs.
(I am aware that most people are cautious about AI given the negative press on blunders made by some. I am also aware that some paralegals fear that AI will replace us. This post is about neither.)
