New member of the pirate community

This is Rex! He turned 15 on September 6th and got his eye removed on the 24th. He finally got his stitches out and cone off and is back to his normal energetic self. I was so worried about him the month before he had the emergency surgery. His health seemed to be declining so fast. I can’t imagine how painful it had to be for it to completely change his personality. Happy to have my boy back..even with his perma-wink. 😉

Thrifts?!

Wth is up with the goodwills here?! The last time I’ve been to one wasn’t that long ago in the Miami area and they were stuffed with clothes and all types of good stuff. I’ve gone to two here and they more retail with hardly any clothes or used items. I’m so disappointed. I know goodwill isn’t the greatest thrift store anyway but I guess I need to explore more options. Mostly a rant but will happily take suggestions!

Black dust on dried flowers?

I’ve had these dried bunches of flowers for years. I let them dry naturally and otherwise they seem fine while I’ve had them hanging in my living room. Now that I’m getting ready to move and pack them, I notice this black dust falling off them. I have like 10 bunches like this and they all have it. Is it mold? I don’t want to keep them if so but they’re all old bouquets my fiancé got me while dating so I hope not. Please advise!

All the gems

Alright people! My fiancé (39M) and I (35F) are making the move to Ft. Myers in a couple weeks. Now I’ve already read all of the posts that most make about how it’s not for a lively, young crowd. We’re coming from Miami and looking forward to a shift. Plus I don’t doubt that we won’t be able to curate our own fun with new friends. That being said-I want all your favorite spots that you’re willing to give up. Food, thrift stores, mom & pop shops, beaches, art..where did you wish you knew about a little sooner? Thanks!
