Kudratillo Abdukakhorov Allegedly Stiffed on Payment For March 21 ProBox Bout - Bruncn Boxing
In March, I reached out to Mr. Kudratillo Abdukakhorov following his first-round TKO loss to Kevin Anton, in which he was seen concerningly clutching his temples in pain.
I was relieved when Mr. Abdukakhorov (22-6 from Andijan, Uzbekistan) confirmed to me that his health was fine. Notably, on the undercard, Isis Sio had been hospitalized and placed into a
medical coma following her knockout loss to Jocelyn Camarillo.
Shockingly, Mr. Abdukakhorov also shared with me that he had not gotten paid for the bout with Anton. I reached out to him again before July 4th weekend and he confirmed once again he had gone without pay; this time, he clarified the role of his manager, Kiki Magana, who allegedly took and kept the Uzbek's pay before "ghosting" his own fighter following Mr. Abdukakhorov's VISA expiration.
I shared what I learned with Matt Brown from Brunch Boxing, and today he published his article with additional details.
