does anyone know the origin of their epilepsy?

i (26F) began having seizures at 11 and was properly diagnosed with focal aware epilepsy when i was 16. i’ve done countless tests and never found a cause for my epilepsy. i know this is quite normal because almost half the people who have epilepsy don’t know the cause of their epilepsy.

but for those who do know the origin of their epilepsy, what is it?

i am tired of being a woman in this world

TW: Sexual Assault/Harassment

nothing could have stopped it from happening. not a longer skirt. not wearing less makeup. not fewer drinks. not setting more boundaries. it happened because he wanted it to and that’s the way it went.

nothing stops my experience being reduced to being an object for men to sexualize everyday. not wearing longer sleeves. not having messier hair. not avoiding absolutely any contact in their direction.

it saddens me that i feel uncomfortable walking outside. i feel uncomfortable being in my own body.

i know not all men. but god, many of them.

i do love that i was born a woman, but right now i really hate being a woman. walking this world as woman and facing the lack of respect, lack of boundaries, lack of safety because of men.

i dream of a world where i can walk and dance and breathe freely and effortlessly, without fear that my and the safety of other women will be compromised.

sigh.

first time experiencing extreme seasonal allergies

i have never been allergic to pollen… up until now i guess🤧 i got the major signs symptoms radar today.

itchy throat, coughing, congestion, headache, and poor sleep due to all the aforementioned symptoms. pretty cool seeing the ring do its thing.

i never realized seasonal allergies could get this serious!!!

After a long night of partying, I woke up early, had sex, and forgot to sync my ring. 🫠 I went back to sleep and now my ring is detecting both my night’s sleep and the nap as an entire night of sleep.

If I adjust my sleep time to end at the time I fell asleep, will the app automatically detect the nap?
