(Massive Spoilers) The Harley Text is 3 children’s stories of Luffy
(Dunno if anyone already said this, I’m new)
The First World describes Chapter 1 (Romance Dawn)
- “Mankind succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun” - Luffy getting hungry and eating the Nika fruit
- “The enslaved prayed and the sun god appeared” - Makino and Woop Slap hoping someone will save Luffy, then Shanks appears wearing the straw hat
- “The earth god raged and with its serpent of fire shrouded the world in death and darkness” - Higuma the mountain bandit throwing the smoke bomb and running off to the sea with Luffy, and the Lord of the Coast coming to eat them and taking Shanks’ arm (this line is particularly dramatized)
- “And they will never meet” - Luffy not getting to go out to sea with Shanks
The Second World describes the end of Wano
- “Within the void there was breath” - after Luffy’s heart stopped beating (void) Nika awakened and brought him back to life with a breath
- “The forest god tamed demons and the sun spread the fires of war” - Monkey D. Luffy defeats the Oni Kaido, the Strongest Creature in the World, announcing it to the world as Nika (the sun) with the Gear 5 wanted poster despite the world government trying to stop it
- “Those of the half-moon dreamed. Those of the moon dreamed” - Kozuki clan and Minks finally were able to rest after 20 years with Oden’s dream being fullfilled
- “Man killed the sun and became god” - Luffy maintaining control of his awakening, not letting the fruit take over, and becoming the Sun God
- "and the sea god stormed” - Shanks flashing his haki from the sea to drive Greenbull away
- “And they will never meet” - Luffy recognizing Shanks’ haki but not getting to see him
The Third World described the Final Saga (Egghead, Elbaf, Final arc)
- “Within the chaos there was emptiness” - the citizens, pirates, and the government all gathering in silence to listen to Vegapunk’s speech
- “The inconvenient remnants recall the promised day and hear the voice of the half moon” - the D clan hear the history of the ancient world it being effectively the same as Kozuki Toki’s message from 800 years ago
- “The sun god dances and laughs guiding the world to it’s end” - Luffy will defeat Imu (the world) sending him back to Mary Geoise where he will be killed by Blackbeard though I think Dragon, Shanks, Shamrock, and Garling will have significant roles
- “The sun returns and brings a new morning” - Luffy after reaching Laughtale and then Mary Geoise will defeat Blackbeard who has usurped Imu and claimed the world, finally bringing the dawn.
- “And they will surely meet” - Luffy returns the strawhat to Shanks
I can't fathom the implications this has on the rest of the story, epsecially the void century, because I speculate Lili wrote this as it was just confirmed she lived on Elbaf in the latest chapter. I don't know if this means that she saw the future sort of like Madam Shyarly saw Luffy in the future, maybe Lili saw it and wrote it down, Toki literally time traveled from the void century and both Lili and Wano were allied with Joyboy. Maybe someone saw Joyboy's future/dream manifested as Luffy, Lili wrote the books based on the story, someone else drew the mural as a way to visualize it, and Toki went forward in time, passing it down orally. This event likely happened on Elbaf, the most important story in the series was told on Fable Island.
