Please help me out

My problems:
•undefined hair
•doesn't hold scrunch from gels
•hair doesn't stay soaked no more than 1 minute while STILL in the shower

I feel like my hair was more defined during the beginning of my journey when I found out my hair was wavy a year ago. I have been having problem with frizz and the lack of definition these couple of weeks. I tried finding the right routine for myself but nothing seemed to work.
Tried mousse alone, I had the softness but not the definition and the 2 gels that I had (bounce curl lightweight gel, and aunt Jackie's glossy curling jelly) I tried them each alone and with the mousse, it just felt like my hair was not holding defection nor the scrunch. It didn't feel like I had any gel on.

I recently bought umberto giannini de curl cream and the vanilla gelato curly jelly scrunching. This picture was my second time using these two products together after my shower and my hair actually holds definition...to a point,

But I know I am lacking something or I am doing something wrong, I just can't seem to figure out what it is.

P.S. I think I have a low porosity hair since the water gets absorbs quiet fast, but my main problem is after shower. My hair doesn't stay soaked like I'm still in the shower, not even 2-3 minutes has past. Especially the back of my hair, it almost feels dry

A more detailed routine description:
I wash my hair with my not your mothers matcha green tea & apple shampoo
Then I use Camille rose Moroccan pear conditioning castard
And during detoxing my hair. I use Olaplex clarifying shampoo and Camille rose honey nectar deep conditioner

When I am done, I comb my hair and while still
In the shower I wet my hair one last time then start using the products. I rake in the de curl cream of umberto giannini, then rake the gel in, then praying hand, then I start scrunching my hair up.

At the end I use Lee stafford heat protection spray then use a diffuser to dry my hair.

I can't figure out the problem

I have the idea, I have the outline..kinda, but I still have problem starting

Sooo, I have this story idea with how the characters are, some key scenes, I have an idea how it starts, how it ends, and a bit of how the middle will be like. I just don't know how to start.

I have been on a reading slump for over a year that I'm trying to get over now, and I know that it has affected me as a writer, but it can't surely be the only reason that I feel so lost?? I'm so lost I don't even know why I'm lost. Is it that I need a more organized and detailed outline or do I just don't know how to write it.

I know due to not reading and writing my skills has gone downhill, my last writing which was 2 months ago was less deceptive than my old writings, but still good enough. Nowadays it feels like I literally can't manage to write a sentence let alone being descriptive about it.

Need Help with my Hair please🙏🏻😞

Hello, I’m looking for advice on improving my hair care routine. Here’s what I’ve figured out about my hair and the routine I currently follow:

Hair Type:
- Mainly 2C
- Low porosity (water sits on my hair instead of soaking in quickly)

Current Routine:

  1. **Shampoo/Conditioner:**
-Shampoo: Not Your Mother's Matcha Green Tea and Apple Blossom Shampoo
    Conditioner: Camille Rose Conditioner

  2. Styling Products:
Mousse: Aunt Jackie's Mousse, applied at the end of the shower
Gels: I occasionally use Bounce Curl Lightweight Gel or Aunt Jackie's Ice Curls Glossy Curling Jelly, both applied after the mousse.

    - I also just bought Umberto Giannini's Curl Control Cream, an Anti-Frizz Curl Serum, and their Scrunching Jelly (Vanilla Gelato Edition) that I haven't tried yet.

  3. Drying Method:
    - I use the diffusing method to dry my hair, my hair still doesn't hold definition perfectly. It either holds definition with no volume, or vice versa.

  4. Additional Information:
    - I sometimes use the Fino Mask for extra moisture.
    - I wear a satin bonnet to bed and use satin pillowcases to minimize frizz.

**Current Challenge:**
My main issue is that my hair takes some time to get wet and doesn’t stay soaking wet while I’m applying products
(MIND YOU, I'm applying my products RIGHT in the shower). By the time I finish applying mousse, my hair isn’t soaked anymore, especially at the back, which affects my ability to scrunch effectively. I’ve also noticed that regardless of how much or little gel I use, my hair doesn’t hold a scrunch.

I’m on a journey to find the right routine for my hair, but I feel that my current challenge is getting my hair sufficiently soaked. Any tips or product recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
